Peter B. Bennett, Ph.D, D.Sc Dr. Bennett is an internationally recognized authority on aspects of high blood pressure, biology, physiology and medicine. He is the co-editor of this discipline's defining textbook. As the long-standing director of F.G. Han Hyperbaric Center at Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Bennett directed the record-breaking Atlantis series of deep research dives. Dr. Bennett founded the Divers Alert Network and presently serves as the Executive Director of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. |

Jon A. Buras, M.D., Ph.D Dr. Buras received his M.D & Ph.D degrees from the Boston University School of Medicine. He currently serves as Research Associate Professor with the New England Inflammation and Tissue Protection Consortium at Northeastern University. Dr. Buras is a National Institutes of Health funded researcher and has been instrumental in identifying important therapeutic mechanisms associated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Some of his current research activities are focused on the role of hyperbaric oxygen and wound healing and oxygen and gene regulation in sepsis. |

Folke G. Lind, M.D., Ph.D Dr. Lind holds faculty appointments in Hyperbaric Medicine and Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Karolinska Hospital and Institute. He currently divides his time equally between clinical and research activities. Dr. Lind received his MD and PhD from the Karolinska Institute and has been involved in hyperbaric physiology since 1977. His clinical hyperbaric practice began a decade later, in 1986. Dr. Lind’s special research interests include trauma, severe infections and post-operative complications. His resulting publications have proven particularly valuable to the discipline of undersea and hyperbaric medicine. |

William A. Zamboni, M.D. Dr.Zamboni serves as Chairman, Department of Surgery, University of Nevada School of Medicine, in Las Vegas. Dr.Zamboni is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He is a National Institutes of Health funded hyperbaric researcher. Dr.Zamboni’s early research contributions provided important insights into the syndrome of ischemia – reperfusion injury, and the beneficial role of hyperbaric oxygenation. |
