Duke University Medical Center, USA

Dr. Bennett is an internationally recognized authority on aspects of high blood pressure, biology, physiology and medicine. He is the co-editor of this discipline's defining textbook. As the long-standing director of F.G. Han Hyperbaric Center at Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Bennett directed the record-breaking Atlantis series of deep research dives. Dr. Bennett founded the Divers Alert Network and presently serves as the Executive Director of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.

Jon A. Buras, M.D., Ph.D

Jon A. Buras, M.D., Ph.D
Northeastern Universityl, USA

Dr. Buras received his M.D & Ph.D degrees from the Boston University School of Medicine. He currently serves as Research Associate Professor with the New England Inflammation and Tissue Protection Consortium at Northeastern University.

Dr. Buras is a National Institutes of Health funded researcher and has been instrumental in identifying important therapeutic mechanisms associated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Some of his current research activities are focused on the role of hyperbaric oxygen and wound healing and oxygen and gene regulation in sepsis.

Folke G. Lind, M.D., Ph.D

Folke G. Lind, M.D., Ph.D
Karolinska University Hospital, Sweden

Dr. Lind serves as Director, Division of Hyperbaric Medicine (a position he has held since 1991) and is an Associate Professor within the Departments of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, at the Karolinska Hospital and Institute, in Stockholm, Sweden. Dr. Lind has broad clinical expertise in the burn, trauma and critical care settings, is an accomplished basic scientist and an equally accomplished clinical researcher. His resulting publications have proven particularly valuable to the discipline of diving and hyperbaric medicine, with his fibroblast proliferation findings providing an important foundation for the application of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in wound healing deficiencies.

William A. Zamboni, M.D.

William A. Zamboni, M.D.
University of Nevada, USA

Dr.Zamboni serves as Chairman, Department of Surgery, University of Nevada School of Medicine, in Las Vegas. Dr.Zamboni is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He is a National Institutes of Health funded hyperbaric researcher. Dr.Zamboni’s early research contributions provided important insights into the syndrome of ischemia – reperfusion injury, and the beneficial role of hyperbaric oxygenation.
